Priyanka Chopra barred from wearing jeans!
Sexy Priyanka Chopra recently revealed on Farah Khan’s talk show ‘Tere Mere Beech Mein’ that she wasn’t allowed to wear jeans at home.After returning to Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh from US where PC had gone to do her high school; her parents made her wear salwar-kameez. Her jeans and short skirts were confiscated because when she used to come back from school guys used to follow her. Her mother got her 12 pair of salwar-kameez.
It sure is hard to imagine Priyanka like that after she has donned hot pants and halters in movie like ‘Dostana’. This dame is considered as one of the glamorous chicks of Bollywood.
Thank god such restrictions are over for you Priyanka!
Wedding bells for Kim Sharma
Kim Sharma is finally getting married! The Mohabbatein actress, who was earlier involved with cricketer Yuvraj Singh, has got over her ugly break-up with him and is all set to walk down the isle with Spanish boyfriend, Carlos Marin. The wedding will take place in February 2010.
Kim travels a lot, and on one of her tours, she met Carlos. Carlos, the frontline vocalist for the Spanish band, Il Divo, was sure of his feelings for her and proposed marriage to her. Kim agreed and now she has been seen trousseau shopping, stacking up on designer labels and verbally inviting all their close friends. All her friends who stay abroad have been informed about the wedding, well in advance. Kim is also planning to move to Spain permanently after marriage because Carlos’ has a promising career while hers is declining steadily.
Shahid Kapoor still longs for Kareena?
The chocolaty actor of Bollywood “Shahid Kapoor” may have confirmed the rumors of getting aside the relationships with the sexy “Kareena Kapoor”. But it is still doubtful whether he is sure of it or not.
At the finals of India’s Got Talent Shahid along with Rani Mukherjee was present to promote their film, “Dil Bole Hadippa”, the actor was found rather hooked to a Kareena commercial on the television.
This was a new ad of a leading telecommunication company Airtel, which features both Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. Newcomer Sonam Kapoor has played a simple and homely girl in both her flicks, ‘Saawariya’ and ‘Delhi 6’. For a change, Sonam will be seen in an ultra-modern chic in the desi version of Jane Austen’s Emma – Aisha produced by father Anil Kapoor and written down by Devika (of Bachna Ae Haseeno fame).
Sonam will be wooed by three guys in the flick – Abhay Deol, Arunoday and Cyrus Sahukar. Abhay Deol plays the male lead as the one who is Ayesha’s worst critic as well as the one who secretly loves and cares for her. Newcomer Arunodoy Singh gets the role of an amiable young flirtatious man whom Ayesha adores and pursues. And VJ Cyrus Sahukar will appear as a guy who wants to marry Ayesha. Anil himself will supposedly play the role of Ayesha’s father – a person who’s a hypochondriac highly concerned about the health and safety of his loved ones.

Amrita Rao & Harbhajan Singh - The Cricket Connection
Petite and delicate beauty Amrita Rao has had an old connection with cricket. She was seen opposite Harman Baweja in the cricket-based film, ‘Victory’ last year. Rumours have it that her forthcoming comedy ‘Hook Ya Crook’ will feature Indian cricket captain Mahnedra Singh Dhoni. In keeping with her association with this game, she was seen along with Harbhajan Singh at a promotional event for a sports channel.

Rani & Shahid promote ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’ on TV
Rani Mukherjee will be back on silver screen with ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’ after a long time, her last being ‘Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic’. She has taken special efforts in getting a toned body and flaunting it in a bikini. Nevertheless, she is taking keen interest in promoting the film along with her co-star Shahid Kapoor who is on a high these days post his success of ‘Kaminey’.
The duo was seen as special guests on the grand finale of the reality show ‘India’s Got Talent’ on 22nd August on Colors. Shahid awarded the trophy to The Prince Dance group who was declared the winner of this reality show after several relatives and friends of the group, apart from state Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, corporate houses and social activists joined hands to vote en masse for them. Rani Mukherjee in a two-piece bikini?
Seems like hot co-stars like Rakhi Sawant and Sherlyn Chopra are giving nightmares to Rani Mukherjee who is known for her plump figure. So, the actress has gone through a strict diet and training regime under the instructions of celebrity trainer Satyadev ‘Satya’ Chaurasia who was also behind Aamir Khan’s six-pack in Ghajini.
So, she is now quite ready with a hot and toned body and will be flaunting skin in a two-piece bikini in her forthcoming film ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’ where she stars opposite Shahid Kapoor. She has shot a promotional remix song for the film in which she has apparently shed all her inhibitions.

Well, talking about super hot Mallika Sherawat, Priyanka Chopra and Bipasha Basu, no producer as yet has worked upon the idea of casting them in the desi version of ‘Charlie’s Angels’. Celina Jaitley goes vampy this season
Celina Jaitley has already been much in news for her take lesbians. Now, she is all set to show some of her acting skills and also shock everyone with her entirely new negative look. In her next movie ‘Accident on Hill Road’ she’ll be playing a negative character and she reportedly took 15 days to decide on the right style for the character and chose a very vampy appearance. She also joined a 10 day acting workshop to brush up on her acting skills.
Celina has donned a new hairdo with much shorter hair in this thriller produced by Nari Hira of Magna Films. The new hairdo has changed Celina’s appearance so much that one takes a couple of seconds of closer look before one realizes the fact that it is indeed Celina on the frame.
“The new look has been created by Hakim Aalim. It was required to cut 10 inches of hair for the look. However, what he ended up doing was save locks of ten inches for me”, laughs Celina.

Well you folks have recently been adressing Aishwarya as an aunty, but Hollywood make-up artists have really made Ash an old woman for Vipul Shah’s next flick Action Replay.
Director Vipul Shah says, “Ash did her old age make up with Paul, a Hollywood make-up artist. When we did it the first time, it didn’t work out well. When you are doing age make-up, you can’t correct it so it had to be removed fully and done again.”
“It took us six hours to get her look right. We started shooting at three in the morning and the shooting went on till 7 a.m..”
So folks now you can see Aishwarya really as an aunty.
Rani's New Obsession
Now we know Rani Mukerji has been going through bad times. The actress has seen a downfall in her career ever since her films Laaga Chunri Mein Daag and Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic flopped. Doing Bhansali's Saawariya made matters only worse for her. With her forthcoming film Dil Bole Hadippa releasing soon, the actress has turned superstitious. Can't really blame her, insecurities makes people do crazy things. The actress, we heard has seeked divine intervention to overcome all her troubles. According to an insider, she has undertaken a fast on every Thursday for the next 40 weeks, followed by a pooja at the Sai Baba temple in Shirdi. We can't really predict about the future of your film Rani, but you'll lose some kilos for sure.

With no new films on the horizon, Shilpa Shetty has found news ways to be in the news. When she is not boring us with details of her romance with beau Raj Kundra, the actress these days has a new task up her sleeve. And that is to fight global warming. She has joined hands with Freeplay Energy India, a company that produces hand crank lanterns that generate electricity without using fuel. Her charity foundation, Shilpa Shetty Foundation will distribute these solar power-generated lamps for free to villages in India. Now only if SS had cranked up her acting skills, she would still be lighting up the screens in Bollywood.

The launch of ‘luck’ based game site by Imran and Shruti
The makers of the film are leaving no stones unturned in promoting their venture. Apart from appearances in TV shows and radio station, Imran and Shruti were seen launching the luck based game site at JW Marriot, Juhu, Mumbai on Wednesday. Check out some clicks from the event.
The entire cine goers clan, the Bollywood fraternity along with Kamal Hassan wait with baited breath as newbie Shruti Hassan makes her grand debut with ‘Luck’ opposite Imran Khan. The on-screen chemistry between the couple as seen in the trailers and in the promotional events looks promising. Negar Khan to sizzle in the jungle
"Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao" had been facing some problems and the contestants seemed to be quitting away on issues related to certain tasks and also on account of the kind of food they were given. Thankfully, the issues have been sorted out and the action is up and going on the program.
The heat will soar up at the show with a new sizzling entrant Negar Khan who will make a wild card entry. The hot model was originally destined to be a part of the show but could not make it because of her visa problem. Kareena:I tend to get upset & depressed
Kareena Kapoor has confessed that she feels depressed when people make bad remarks about her acting.
She says,”I have realised over a period of time that the higher you go, more and more people will try to pull you down. I used to hear about this from my sister (Karishma) but am experiencing this first hand now. It isn’t really funny actually.”
“Well, the movie has released, done well and it’s time to move on to newer things. Critics had things to say about the film and it’s okay if they didn’t like the film. In any case, audiences had their own take on the film and they made the film a success. It’s all balanced out at the end of the day.”
Come on, it was just a movie. We were not developing any rocket science there. However, I guess some people did take it all personally and equated ‘Kambakkht Ishq’ to World War III.”
“Yes, I do tend to get upset and depressed when people try to pull me down. Sometimes it just comes from nowhere and you end up feeling that what did you really do so wrong to be facing such criticism.
“But then I understand that there could be a phase in one’s life when you get attacked from all corners. It’s fine because I know it will pass.”

Bebo to join Facebook
Guess who is going to be on Facebook soon, it’s Kareena Kapoor. She will be visiting the social-networking site for 30 minutes “to say hello” to her well wishers and fans.
Kareena says, I’ve been repeatedly told that I’ve the maximum number of fans and well-wishers on Facebook. I could never find the time to connect with them. More importantly, I was too shy. I can’t bring myself to answer over-specific questions on my activities, where I am, what i do eat, etc.”
“It was Saif who introduced me to the computer. He does practically all his work on the internet. He coaxed me into understanding the basics. And then I got hooked, though not to social networking because I’m too private a person to share my day-to-day movements and activities even with my closest friends.”
“I now realize it’s a whole large global community out there on the computer. I can’t blog about my life. But I need to understand and connect with the internet community. In fact.”
“Imtiaz said the number of people on Facebook who put up my pictures and messages about me had to be seen to be believed. I’ll now be going on Facebook in a few days to interact with my friends there.”
Saif introduced you to computers???? Then what did you learn at Harvards for 3-months in the micro-computer course?? She sounds like Paris Hilton here – dumb!!!
Priyanka: My man should make me feel special
Priyanka Chopra has her hands full with movies, from Kaminey, What’s your Rashee to Pyar Impossible and there is no time dor her to settle down.
Talking about marriage and her dream man she says, “No plans of settling down at the moment. But when I do… Mr Right has to match a lot of my parameters. He has to be someone who knows how to make me feel special, make me feel like I’m walking on air. He has to be somebody who loves me for who I am and takes pride in being with me. No bare back for Kareena
Kareena Kapoor’s next flick with Saif Ali Khan calle Qurbaan, shows them in a love-making scene which has loads of exposing and intimacy but Bebo wants to chop some scenes off now.
Kareena want’s to remove a scene where she is showing her bare back. Apparently she is nervous about what her parents and going to be parent-in-laws might think about it.
Kareena says, “We are actors and can’t be coy after accepting a film on a bold subject like Qurbaan. I’ve done kissing scenes earlier. But the love-making scene is explicit by my yardstick. It comes at a crucial stage in the narration. And Saif made sure I was comfortable.”
Well when you have to remove it, don’t do it in the first place.
