Celina Jaitley has already been much in news for her take lesbians. Now, she is all set to show some of her acting skills and also shock everyone with her entirely new negative look. In her next movie ‘Accident on Hill Road’ she’ll be playing a negative character and she reportedly took 15 days to decide on the right style for the character and chose a very vampy appearance. She also joined a 10 day acting workshop to brush up on her acting skills.

Celina has donned a new hairdo with much shorter hair in this thriller produced by Nari Hira of Magna Films. The new hairdo has changed Celina’s appearance so much that one takes a couple of seconds of closer look before one realizes the fact that it is indeed Celina on the frame.

“The new look has been created by Hakim Aalim. It was required to cut 10 inches of hair for the look. However, what he ended up doing was save locks of ten inches for me”, laughs Celina.

Directed by debutant Mahesh Nair, the film also stars Farooq Sheikh and Abhimanyu Shekhar Singh. The film shows how Farooq and Celina cross paths when Celina’s car hits Farooq in a freak road accident. What happens thereafter forms the crux of the film.

Director Vipul Shah says, “Ash did her old age make up with Paul, a Hollywood make-up artist. When we did it the first time, it didn’t work out well. When you are doing age make-up, you can’t correct it so it had to be removed fully and done again.”

“It took us six hours to get her look right. We started shooting at three in the morning and the shooting went on till 7 a.m..”

She has joined hands with Freeplay Energy India, a company that produces hand crank lanterns that generate electricity without using fuel. Her charity foundation, Shilpa Shetty Foundation will distribute these solar power-generated lamps for free to villages in India. Kareena:I tend to get upset & depressed

Kareena Kapoor has confessed that she feels depressed when people make bad remarks about her acting.

She says,”I have realised over a period of time that the higher you go, more and more people will try to pull you down. I used to hear about this from my sister (Karishma) but am experiencing this first hand now. It isn’t really funny actually.”

“Well, the movie has released, done well and it’s time to move on to newer things. Critics had things to say about the film and it’s okay if they didn’t like the film. In any case, audiences had their own take on the film and they made the film a success. It’s all balanced out at the end of the day.”

Come on, it was just a movie. We were not developing any rocket science there. However, I guess some people did take it all personally and equated ‘Kambakkht Ishq’ to World War III.”

“Yes, I do tend to get upset and depressed when people try to pull me down. Sometimes it just comes from nowhere and you end up feeling that what did you really do so wrong to be facing such criticism.

“But then I understand that there could be a phase in one’s life when you get attacked from all corners. It’s fine because I know it will pass.”

Guess who is going to be on Facebook soon, it’s Kareena Kapoor. She will be visiting the social-networking site for 30 minutes “to say hello” to her well wishers and fans.

Kareena says, I’ve been repeatedly told that I’ve the maximum number of fans and well-wishers on Facebook. I could never find the time to connect with them. More importantly, I was too shy. I can’t bring myself to answer over-specific questions on my activities, where I am, what i do eat, etc.”

“It was Saif who introduced me to the computer. He does practically all his work on the internet. He coaxed me into understanding the basics. And then I got hooked, though not to social networking because I’m too private a person to share my day-to-day movements and activities even with my closest friends.”

“I now realize it’s a whole large global community out there on the computer. I can’t blog about my life. But I need to understand and connect with the internet community. In fact.”

“Imtiaz said the number of people on Facebook who put up my pictures and messages about me had to be seen to be believed. I’ll now be going on Facebook in a few days to interact with my friends there.”

Saif introduced you to computers???? Then what did you learn at Harvards for 3-months in the micro-computer course?? She sounds like Paris Hilton here – dumb!!!

Talking about marriage and her dream man she says, “No plans of settling down at the moment. But when I do… Mr Right has to match a lot of my parameters. He has to be someone who knows how to make me feel special, make me feel like I’m walking on air. He has to be somebody who loves me for who I am and takes pride in being with me. He also has to be honest and be able to speak well, make me laugh – all in all, somebody who really really loves me.”

No bare back for Kareena

Kareena Kapoor’s next flick with Saif Ali Khan calle Qurbaan, shows them in a love-making scene which has loads of exposing and intimacy but Bebo wants to chop some scenes off now.

Kareena want’s to remove a scene where she is showing her bare back. Apparently she is nervous about what her parents and going to be parent-in-laws might think about it.

Kareena says, “We are actors and can’t be coy after accepting a film on a bold subject like Qurbaan. I’ve done kissing scenes earlier. But the love-making scene is explicit by my yardstick. It comes at a crucial stage in the narration. And Saif made sure I was comfortable.”

Well when you have to remove it, don’t do it in the first place.

Celina Jaitley & Baba Ramdev - The war is on!!

Where Celina Jaitley openly supports the gay community in India, Baba Ramdev has claimed that homosexuality is a disease which he can cure. Both being on opposite camps, it is but natural that both will hurl accusations on each other.

This is what Baba had commented about Celina, “These actresses know nothing about Bhartiya sanskriti. They stay away from their parents and have no morals. Unke partner har mahine badalte hain.”

This comment has obviously offended Celina who is not the one to take anything lying down. She retorts back saying, “Well, isn’t it strange that this great Brahamachari seems to know more about my sex life then I may know myself? I couldn’t be more amused when I heard him making such statements. I really believe though that he himself does not know the meaning of true ‘Brahamacharya’.”

Celina also answers back on Baba’s comment that she lacks the knowledge of Indian culture. She says, “He has also challenged on my knowledge of ‘bhartiya sanskriti’. Well, this is my take on it:

Kareena wants a cut in love-making scene with Saif

Kareena Kapoor is a worried woman these days, for the actress is reportedly concerned about a particular shot in an aesthetic love-making sequence between her and beau Saif, canned for Karan Johar’s ‘Qurbaan’.

According to reports, Kareena isn’t too sure of the scene as she thinks that the physical exposure and intimacy shown in it is, perhaps, a little more than what her instincts allow.

Sources suggest that Bebo is intending to ask director Rensil D’Silva to delete the scene in question from the passionate love-making session for it reveals too much of her bare!

“We are actors and can’t be coy after accepting a film on a bold subject like ‘Qurbaan’. I’ve done kissing scenes earlier. But the love-making scene is explicit by my yardstick. Priyanka Chopra spends a quiet birthday

One of the most sought after Bollywood actress, Priyanka Chopra turned 27 this Saturday but there not no birthday bash for this girl who has always had a quiet birthday with friends and family since the age of 12.

“It’s always been a home celebration. My family brings in surprises for me and I like it that way because I really get worried when it comes to organizing parties,” she laughs.

“I’m not a big party person and I don’t like throwing parties at all. So this time a lot of my family members have decided to fly down to be with me. It’s likely to be a day spent doing nothing in particular - just hanging out with the people who love me and want to be around me to make my day special. That’s all,” she added.

Talking about her birthday resolutions, Piggy Chops said, “I don’t have any specific plan, but hope for peace of mind and well being. This year has been extremely good for me, and I would like to thank God for it.”

With many awaited films at present, viz., Vishal Bharadwaj’s “Kaminey” with Shahid Kapoor, Ashutosh Gowariker’s “What’s Your Rashee?”, and Yash Raj Films’ “Pyaar Impossible” along with Uday Chopra and Dino Morea, Priynaka Chopra says that she does not believe much in setting goals.

“I’ve never set any goals for myself. I’ve always been destiny’s child and destiny has always looked after me. I think someone up there always manages my life and does what’s best for me. So I just leave it up to Him. I just work hard at what he sends my way,” she said.

Why Shruti Hassan got a nose job done?

Going under the knife to enhance appearance is not a new concept for Bollywood beauties. Right from Shilpa Shetty to Rakhi Sawant, everyone seems to be opting for surgery in a quest to perfection. This time it is the newbie, Shruti Hassan who has undergone a nose surgery even before her first film ‘Luck’ hits the screens. So, now instead of her trademark aquiline nose, she is seen sporting a designer nose.

However, the girl does not believe in hiding this fact and openly admits that she has got a nose job done “but not because I was unhappy with my looks”. Instead it was to get treated for deviated septum — a common disorder involving a displacement of the nasal septum which hampered her breathing and even affected her singing.

Admits Shruti, “Yes, I did get a small surgery done because of my breathing problem. It was done recently at a hospital abroad for a deviated septum. It was purely a medical need and has nothing to do with any cosmetic demands.”

“There was this bone inside my nose, which affected my breathing. Now after the surgery, I can finally sleep much more peacefully,” she explains.

She adds further, “Yes, I got a corrective surgery done and there is nothing to hide. It’s not like Pamela Anderson’s b**b job. I went to the US and got it done because this is a tricky surgery. If it is not done right, it could affect my voice and that’s something I cannot risk.”

Sizzling Deepika Padukone in item number once again

Not many have forgotten the spicy item number done by Deepika Padukone in SRK’s flick ‘Billu Barber’. The song was a rage and Deepika will now again be seen in an item number. Only this time it would be a Telugu flick.

The movie which will feature this item number is titled ‘Love 4 Ever’ and is being directed and produced by Jayant C. Paranji under Laughing Waters Entertainment banner. Set in the backdrop of a grape garden, the film is a love story though with a uniqueness and has Ranadeep and Mridula in the lead roles. ‘Love 4 Ever’ will be made in Telugu as well as Hindi.

Saif Ali Khan is all set to make a sequel to his hit flick Race with Abbas Mustan and has confirmed that his stylish girlfriend Kareena Kapoor will also star in the flick.

Talking about Abbas Mustan and Kareena,Saif says,”They understand the pulse of the plot. ‘Race’ was a fast-paced action-adventure caper. Not too many filmmakers in Bollywood would’ve done such a wonderful job of it.”

“Yes, Kareena will be part of ‘Race 2′. We’re yet to flesh out the details. But ‘Race 2′ has to be bigger and larger than ‘Race’. Otherwise no point in making it.”
